Perrenland Climate
Spring and Summer
As
the cold steppe winds retreat at the end of winter, the winds from the Drawmidj
have more access to eastern Perrenland, bringing welcome rain to the east
and north, and flash floods throughout the Clatspur ranges. In the west and
south, warm and dry Feorn winds descend over the Yatils from Ket, Tusmit and
Veluna, opening the passes and bringing clear skies, warm dry weather and
the occasional drought. Most trading communities begin their export seasons
as soon as the first Feorn winds are felt, and the Feorn Break, as the first
warm winds of the season are called, is a good day for adventurers seeking
to hire on as merchants guards or escorts. A general rush of hiring occurs
in Schwartzenbruin and Krestible, as merchants know the appearance of the
Feorn Break means the snows are now melting in the high passes.
