Federal - the Concatenated Council of All Perrenland

The Concatenated Council is led by the Voormann, and comprises:

• The Voormann;
• An Untervoormann (appointed by the Voorman);
• Five other federal Munistres (appointed by the Voorman);
• Eleven Hintervoormenn of the Cantonal Councils;
• The Uberauszegan (supreme commander) of the Auszug (army);
• The HetVoorShoolmann of the Old Kerk;
• A representative of the trade guilds (elected by the various guilds); and
• A representative of the Pax Mercuri.

In all, the Concatenated Council consists of 22 voting members, and the Voormann holds the power of veto. The Council's principal responsibilities are to consider and approve federal legisation, maintain peace and harmony among the Cantons of Perrenland, control the federal armed forces (the Auszug), conduct foreign affairs. and uphold the powers of the federal courts.
