original inhabitants of Perrenland were the Ur-Flannae, the ancestors of the
historical Flan peoples. Many lost treasures and forgotten cities were created
by these people, indeed it is suspected they at one time possessed a vast
empire and a high magical culture. Indeed similar ruins in the Yatil, Clatspur,
Griff and Raker mountains suggest a common origin and purpose, an empire based
on magical transportation and almost unimaginable resources. Who or what overcame
the Ur-Flannae is unknown, magical prying has revealed no answers and even
the Gods are silent on these matters. Whatever the truth, by the time the
Flan people entered historical records, they possessed no higher lore and
