Franz is infamous in Perrenland for signing the non-agression pact with Iuz in 583 CY. The pact was unpopular with most Perrenlanders, and Franz was famously rejected by his own Cantonal Council of Nederboden as a candidate for re-election in 584 CY. Having lost the confidence of his own clan, Franz resigned as Hintervoormann of Nederboden and Voorstammann (elected Pfalzgraf) of Clan Hussen, and was succeeded in those positions by his wife, Karla Hussen. Since that time, Franz has not been involved in Perrenese politics, and is now a broken and dementia-plagued man.
