Yatilsskaad

Location: south-west Perrenland, at the base of the Western Yatils

Description: Yatilsskaad is the last real town of Perrenland along the Krestingstrek. There are other settlements along the trail to Ket, but these are either purely military camps or very small. This garrison town lies at the base of the Yatils, nestled in a valley between two tall peaks - one to the north-west and another to the south-east. The town's walls completely block the valley's floor, running between two small fortresses which face each other across the valley. The south-western wall faces Ket and is called the Old Wall, while the north-eastern New Wall faces Perrenland. On the south-western side of the town, beyond the Old Wall, is the "Canvas Stadt" - a tent settlement where merchants and other travellers rest and await clearance to pass through the town and on to Krestible.

Things to do: Take a risk and go gambling at Khalad's Rest, an enormous marquis that has been a permanent fixture of the Canvas Stad for fifty years.
